Ajith Haridass
Sr. Coach / Mentor
Ajith Haridass is an international badminton champion and highly respected mentor with extensive experience in competitive sport and athlete development. He is the BWF Senior World Champion (Men’s Doubles 40+) – 2019 and a multiple-time National Champion across junior, senior, and masters categories, having represented India at several international championships. His career includes numerous state and national titles, establishing him as one of the most accomplished players in his category.
Following a successful professional career as an architect, he transitioned into full-time sports mentorship and served as Chief Mentor at Hatsun Badminton Centre from 2017 to 2024. Under his leadership, athletes achieved significant success at international, national, and state levels, producing national champions and globally ranked players. He is known for his structured, high-performance coaching approach focused on excellence, discipline, and long-term athlete development.
Mohammed Ameer
Head coach
Mohammed Ameer is a former National-level badminton player and international coach who began his badminton journey in 1998 and continues to be actively involved in the sport. He represented Tamil Nadu consistently from Under-10 to Under-19 levels and competed at the highest school level through SGFI from 6th to 12th standard. At the collegiate level, he represented Madras University, reaching the South Zone Championships and competing in the All India Inter-University tournaments. He served as Coach and Manager of the Tamil Nadu Sub-Junior Team in 2017 and was appointed Coach and Manager of the Tamil Nadu Senior Team in 2023. With over two decades of experience, including training international players from multiple countries, he brings strong technical expertise, tactical insight, and a structured approach to athlete development.
Amal Britto
Asst. Senior Coach
Amal Britto is an experienced badminton coach and a National level player from Kerala, with a strong competitive background at national,state, district, and inter-university levels. A gold medalist in multiple Kerala State and District Championships also represent kerala team for junior national badminton championship held at Manipur and represented kerala state in National school Games he brings deep technical knowledge, disciplined training methods, and a passion for player development. With hands-on experience in nurturing students’ skills, fitness, and game strategy, he is dedicated to helping players achieve consistent performance and long-term success in badminton.
Vasanth Surulivel
Sparing Player Cum Coach
A high-performance badminton professional with proven experience at state, national, and university levels. Represented the University team at South Zone tournaments and secured a 23rd ranking in Senior Men’s Singles in Tamil Nadu. Selected for the PYKKA National Championships and represented at Divisional Level RDS and BDS tournaments, highlighting consistent competitive excellence.
A certified badminton coach, having completed the NIS (6WCC) and BWF Level 1 Coaching Programme. Dedicated to delivering structured coaching, tactical development, performance analysis, and long-term player growth.
